Braasi Industry is a family business specialised in designing and manufacturing backpacks for practical everyday use, travelling and commuting based on the principles of simplicity, function, style, durability and sustainability.
All of Braasi's products are proudly handmade at their factory in Prague with carefully selected materials sourced from primarily local businesses and distributors.

Founding
We, Eliska and Simon, founders of Braasi, started out as architects. Based on our passion, needs and interest - we have built Braasi from the ground up into what it is today - a world-class producer of handmade high-quality products inspired from the simplistic aesthetics of 1980’s climbing gear.
We started in 2013 with a simple idea: to create backpacks for ourselves. What began as hand-sewn prototypes quickly grew into a passion that resonated with others. -
From Family House to Dream Factory
Our manufacturing began in Eliška’s family home, turning the apartment into a make-shift factory with sewing machines on the dining table, fabric and leather cutting in the bedroom and our packaging station on the couch. This worked for a year, but as more and more orders kept coming, we realised we needed to expand.
We found an old abandoned factory originally used to make aluminium casting molds in Holešovice – one of Prague’s oldest industrial areas and turned it into the workshop of our dreams.
In its current form, the factory has a sewing workshop, a design and architectural office, a photography studio, spaces for events and workshops, and Tleskač’s workshop. From here, we can go from the first sketch all the way to the finished product, including packaging and distribution.

JOHNNIE WALKER
Our cooperation with Johnnie Walker happened effortlessly. They approached us after seeing the product we made for other liquor brands. Our Webbing backpacks were chosen for their promotional backpacks and we branded them with their logo.

Rap Rap & BRAASI INDUSTRY
Two years ago we designed a fanny pack and backpack Evo II for the brand Rap Rap, founded by graphic designer Jan Kloss and Josef Změlík, also known as the rapper “Idea”.

CUSTOM ORDERS
We work with companies and organisations to design, develop and produce tailored versions of our bags and backpacks. Companies we have worked with to date include Google Pay, PPF Group, Alteryx, Avast, AQ, Raul, and Sales Dock.
